University of Bradford

University of Bradford

You’ll learn from academic and industry experts who are shaping the future of their sectors, and you’ll learn in world-class facilities – we’ve invested millions of pounds in high-tech learning environments, such as our motion capture studio and Bloomberg Trading Room.

Our curriculum is designed with input from these industry experts and partners, which means you’ll develop skills that are highly valued by employers – along with plenty of hands-on practical experience. Many of our courses have professional, statutory or regulatory body accreditation or approval, giving you the best possible start to your career.

As a technology university with over 50 years of research experience our mission is to create knowledge through research. We apply this knowledge for the benefit of society, tackling the major global challenges of our age. 96% of our research was rated world-leading, internationally excellent or internationally recognised in the latest Research Excellence Framework.

Location

Bradford, England (UK)

Bradford is one of the largest cities in the UK, a young, enterprising city of over 500,000 people. It’s an exciting place to be a student – it’s friendly, diverse and there’s so much to do. Whatever you’re into you’ll find it here, and there’s loads more to discover when you venture beyond the city centre.

You’ll find everything you need on City Campus – whether you’re studying, relaxing or playing. It has the kind of community atmosphere you won’t find elsewhere. It’s a friendly, welcoming place where great things happen. City Campus is compact, self contained, and located just minutes from the city centre.

With buildings made from hemp, beehives with student beekeepers, and edible gardens, sustainable development is embedded in University life. We regularly win awards for our environmental initiatives, and our new developments are amongst the most sustainable buildings of their kind. Our campus is ranked the 4th greenest in the world.

Campus has a theatre, a gallery and a music centre, and student-led societies and clubs covering all kinds of cultural interests. We run an Arts on Campus programme which offers something for everyone, with regular film screenings, exhibitions, talks and events.
